There is a strong demand for energy efficient solutions to replace existing heating systems for light, commercial, industrial and large residential buildings.
Heat pump technology can be more energy efficient as it utilises low carbon technology. An example of this would be the air to water reversible heat pump. Cascade control can be applied which helps to reduce heating costs as heat pumps will be switched on or off depending on demand.
Due to this change in heating, engineers will need more education and training in order to handle, install and maintain these systems. What are your thoughts on this change to more energy efficient heat pumps?
